Ideally my goal was to start a blog from the beginning to present; me entering the world of Motherhood, the pregnancy, the planning, the prepping, the growth as an individual. Nope! Thats just what motherhood is- being busy, consumed in life and nothing going as planned. So here I am now, 13 months in and giving you a glimpse of my world. Married working mom; great husband; amazing daughter, adorable dog-er, wonderful family, Love of Fashion/Art, obsessions with vintage finds, Etsy, Pinterest, Lifetime/Hallmark Movies, and all things creative. My blog will not be intended to portray a "perfect life" or a perfect anything. It will only focus on things I am blessed with, positives and hopefully something that can inform you in any way. If you want to hear me complain just follow me at www.twitter.com/NJLove_ :) I will remain true to myself, the RAW Natalie Jane. Welcome to the madness.
It was like Chicken Noodle for the Soul
As mothers we get so drowned in taking care of others that we loose focus on that attention we need.. Or maybe that’s just the Nurse/Caretaker in me… Today I finally made it around to go to the doctor with a list long of questions and requests. And sometimes the way the universe aligns itself we get lucky. I was seen by a NP who’s a mom of 22 month old twins who she still breast feeds. After going thru my list of obsessions.. I had the best therapeutic session on simple mommy stuff. Just what I needed. It was so good for my soul. And for a cake topper I take advantage of being baby-less and took a nice walk home and came across the cutest tree I seen all year :) happy holidays!
Pictures from recent trips to Mt. Scott. You are so fearless, it gives all of is anxiety. I’m glad you have an adventurer’s heart though, you’ve got the guts in your blood for sure. I have no doubts at all that you will take all that courage and run with it. You’re gonna take over the world one day, zero doubts in my mind.
How can you not love running into vintage finds? This year is so much more exciting because as Cassidy gets older she becomes more aware and able to do more; more importantly fit into a variety of clothing. The infant stage doesn’t give much room to pick. After coming across 2 vintage toddler ugly sweaters I almost died and went to ugly sweater heaven! The search got more satisfying as I was able to match the theme of her sweaters with sweaters for Peter & I!! (Dancing in excitement) A toast to the start of our family tradition!!!
Happy first post! Let me introduce myself! I am Natalie Jane; mommy to Pepsi Dior and Cassidy Valentina, wife of 3 years to Peter John, daughter, aunt, sister, Godmommy, friend, Registered Nurse, confidant, and hopefully a useful piece of information to you all!…
